Welcome to the Auburn Applied Remote Sensing (AARS) Program. AARS is a research program utilizing remote sensing methodologies to help solve applied problems in the state of Alabama. The program is structured to provide resources to students and faculty that use remote sensing in their research. AARS also partners with other institutions and agencies in the state through the AlabamaView consortium.
AlabamaView is a consortium formed to promote research, education, and outreach of remote sensing and geographic information systems to Alabama citizenry. A major focus of AlabamaView is to provide centralized access to downloadable remotely sensed imagery and GIS layers.
